We invite you to submit your abstracts for the HDIO 2026 Congress, taking place from 12 to 15 November 2026.Abstracts will be published in the journal Libri Oncologici. Please read the rules below carefully, as they differ in part from those applied previously.
Abstract submission deadline: 15 October, 2026.
Abstracts received after this date cannot be included in the programme or in the proceedings, as they must be forwarded to the publisher in due time.

General Rules
- Abstracts and titles must be written IN ENGLISH ONLY..
- Names and surnames of authors and co-authors must be given in full, without academic titles..
- The name and surname of the presenting author must be written in CAPITAL LETTERS..
- The official name of each author's institution must be given in English, in the following order: Department – Clinic/institute – Institution – City – Country.Institutions are selected using the institution table created for HDIO. If your institution is not on the list, select “Other” at the bottom of the list to open fields for entering a new institution.
- Authors must be linked to their institutions numerically..
- Keywords: 3 to 6 words or phrases, separated by semicolons..

ABSTRACT TYPES: POSTER OR INVITED SPEAKER
1. FOR INVITED SPEAKERS
Lecture abstracts do not need to follow a specific format; rather, they should reflect the format of the presentation.
Submission of a lecture abstract is not mandatoryHowever, if a lecture abstract is not submitted, the presentation cannot subsequently be recognised as a presentation at a professional or scientific meeting.
1.1. Abstract of a Plenary Lecture – maximum 500 words
Format: Abstract, Keywords, References
1.2. Abstract of a Short Lecture – maximum 300 words
Format: Abstract, Keywords, References
1.3. Abstract of a Case Presentation Lecture – maximum 300 words
Format: Introduction, Case Presentation, Conclusion, Keywords, References
Case presentations that are part of the poster section must be submitted separately.
